Our history

In 1984, the quaint holiday hotel Lanserhof in Lans near Innsbruck was transformed into a health resort. From the beginning F.X. Mayr medicine formed the foundation for the illness prevention and regeneration concept. A milestone for Lanserhof was the acquisition by Anton Pletzer and Christian Harisch in 1998. In 2009 Stefan Rutter has also joined as a partner. Extensive investments followed, with continuous modernisations of the entire hotel section, always putting the guest center stage in the design. In 2016 a further renewal and extension of the building took place, with particular emphasis on the sensitive integration into the surrounding alpine panorama.

In October 2012 the LANS Medicum opened its doors in the heart of Hamburg to become our first outpatient centre for the LANS Med Concepts and Sports and Regeneration Medicine.

The opening of the Lanserhof Tegernsee - the most modern health center in Europe - took place on January 1, 2014. It was developed by architect Christoph Ingenhoven and landscape architect Enzo Enea. Our award-winning LANS Med Concept can be experienced at three locations.
The opening of another Lanserhof on the German island of Sylt is planned in 2020.
