The world’s leading medical spa and London’s most iconic private members’ club are partnering to bring London’s finest medical gym to the former Dover Street Market building opposite the club, opening in 2019.
Lanserhof at The Arts Club will be the ultimate medical and gym facility in London, enabling both members of London’s premier private members club and clients of Lanserhof direct access to some of the world’s foremost medical experts and cutting-edge treatments. The medical facility will be led by Lanserhof’s multi-award-winning team of Doctors and health professionals.
Sheila McCann, who has devoted over 35 years of her life to the spa and wellness sector and is one of the most accomplished and respected leaders in the industry, has recently been announced as the facility’s General Manager. Most recently, McCann was General Manager at Chiva-Som International Health Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand – a five-star destination wellness resort.
As part of the programme that will be available at Lanserhof at The Arts Club, members will have access to high-end diagnostics and medical facilities as well as a world-class gym, studios for classes, consulting rooms, treatment rooms for sports and other injuries, a carefully-crafted menu of healthy food and highly sought-after cryotherapy treatment chambers, making it the first of its kind in the UK.
Alice Chadwyck-Healey, Executive Director of The Arts Club added: “The Arts Club members have been asking us to expand to incorporate a health and fitness facility into the London club so we were really excited to be able to take over the former Dover Street Market site; it is the perfect location to open in partnership with the award-winning team at Lanserhof.”
Dr Christian Harisch, CEO of the Lanserhof group commented: “Lanserhof has a long-standing worldwide reputation and is recognised as the world’s leading medical resort. We look forward to bringing this world-class knowledge to London and in partnership with The Arts Club, we will help members to lead a healthier, happier and more energetic, prolonged life.”
